Really?? Taylor Swift!?

Did The Recording Academy not pay attention to Taylor Swift's off-key karaokesque performance?! ALBUM OF THE YEAR?!

Seriously... I am losing all faith in the American music industry.

So many things annoyed me about this years Grammy's, but Taylor Swifts multiple wins has to be the worst part.

Am I the only one that thinks this girl isn't all that?? I felt so bad for Stevie Nicks... Swift ruined her song!

I'm Really Gonna Miss Conan...

But he couldn't have done a better, classier job signing off... best of luck to ya Coco!


*So I did have the video of Conan's last words but of course NBC being the assholes they are, they took it down. Oh well, I'm hoping most of you got to see it. If not, keep searching YouTube. I'm sure someone will get it up again soon*

Job Searching is Rough

I've moved around a lot in the past 8 years, and because of this I've had to get plenty of different jobs. It's never been that hard. Within a week or two at most of looking, I'd have something. Usually, I went through a temp agency or something similar... that worked well.

It's just not the same anymore. I knew our economy and job outlook was bad, but it never really hit me personally until the past couple months. Even the temp agencies in the area don't have openings. How is that possible?!

I have even rethought what I'm willing to do or how much I'm willing to accept. I've applied for jobs that make less than I really need.... but still nothing.

It's scary -- and depressing. When will this ever turn around? I can't hold on forever...

Congrats to The Big Bang Theory - Favorite TV Comedy

Finally, good TV returns!

I love the holidays, I really do... but what I don't love is the endless re-runs on TV. I mean, come on.... I'm stuck at home with the family and don't even have a good show to look forward to!

Thankfully, this week marks the return of two of my favorites, The Big Bang Theory and Castle. Both on Monday night. I never knew I'd look forward to Mondays...
